Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use the Services to create, upload, store, transmit, or share content that: (a) is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or obscene; (b) promotes violence, terrorism, or discrimination; (c) is sexually explicit or exploits minors; (d) infringes intellectual property rights or other third-party rights; (e) contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code; (f) is spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications; (g) impersonates any person or entity; or (h) is fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive.

You may not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or other users' accounts; (b) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services except as permitted by our bug-bounty programme; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; (d) bypass or circumvent any security measure, rate limit, or credit cap; (e) use the Services to develop a competing product or to train a competing AI model; (f) scrape, crawl, or use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Services except as permitted by our robots.txt; (g) use the AI Features to generate content that violates Section 1 above; (h) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or AI model weights; or (i) resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without our prior written consent.

When using AI Features (including SlashAI), you must: (a) review AI-generated Content before relying on it for any business, legal, medical, or financial decision; (b) not represent AI-generated Content as your own original work product if doing so would be misleading or deceptive; (c) not use AI-generated Content to generate spam, harassment, or other prohibited content; (d) not use AI-generated Content to make automated decisions about individuals (e.g. hiring, lending, housing) without human review; (e) respect copyright — if the AI generates content that resembles existing copyrighted material, you are responsible for the use of that content.

SlashAI may be used to: (a) draft communications, documents, and code, provided a human reviews the output; (b) summarise and analyse documents you have the right to access; (c) automate repetitive tasks; (d) research and brainstorm; (e) translate between languages you understand; (f) any other lawful purpose.

Some product lines have industry-specific restrictions: (a) **SlashBooks** may not be used to prepare tax returns for third parties unless you are a licensed tax adviser in the relevant jurisdiction; (b) **TimePlate** payroll features may not be used to pay employees unless you are the employer or an authorised agent; (c) **FreelanceHub** escrow may not be used for the sale of illegal goods or services; (d) **SlashAI** may not be used to provide medical, legal, or financial advice to third parties in a way that requires a professional licence.

We may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. We may take any of the following actions: (a) issue a warning; (b) remove or disable access to the offending content; (c) suspend the offending Account; (d) terminate the offending Account; (e) report the violation to law enforcement; (f) bring a civil claim for damages.

Where practicable, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to cure. For serious violations (e.g. child sexual abuse material, terrorism), we will act immediately without notice.

To report a violation of this AUP, email ${SLASHHUB_LEGAL.abuseEmail} with: (a) a description of the violation; (b) the URL or Account ID of the offending content; (c) your contact details so we can follow up. We will respond within 48 hours and take action as appropriate.

We will not retaliate against any user who, in good faith, reports a violation of this AUP. If you believe you have been retaliated against, contact ${SLASHHUB_LEGAL.legalEmail} and we will investigate.
